This Privacy Policy explains how Veromtec / Roman Liskin (“Veromtec,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use Ad Trap (the “App”).

Ad Trap is designed to help users identify the app that launches unwanted jumped/spam popup ads after all apps are closed and the phone is idle on the Android home screen. The App uses a user-enabled Android Accessibility service only for this catcher functionality.

By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

Important accessibility summary: Ad Trap does not read your messages, passwords, personal text, browser content, payment details, or private conversations. It does not capture screenshots, record audio, record video, perform gestures, run a VPN, filter DNS, or inspect HTTPS traffic. The Accessibility service is used to identify the foreground app package that appears after the user intentionally arms the catcher.

1. Information We Collect or Access

The information collected or accessed depends on the features you use and the permissions you grant. The App is designed to store catcher history and preferences locally on your device.

The App presents a prominent in-app disclosure before sending the user to Android Accessibility settings. The service is user-controlled and can be disabled at any time from Android settings.

The Accessibility service is not intended to assist users with disabilities and is not used as a general device-control tool. It is used only for the spam-ad detection feature described above.

The App may use third-party services to provide, maintain, advertise, secure, or improve the App. These third parties may collect information according to their own privacy policies.
