This Privacy Policy applies to Tactical Map and related Android map, compass, navigation-support, outdoor, and tactical planning applications published by Veromtec on Google Play, including but not limited to:
For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, “App,” “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to applications and services provided by Veromtec.
By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
The information collected or accessed depends on which features you use and which Android permissions you grant. Many App features work locally on your device. Some features may use third-party services, advertising SDKs, Google Play Billing, map services, weather services, or diagnostics.
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide, including:
We do not ask users to provide sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for a specific App feature or support request.
When you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically by the App or by third-party services used in the App. This may include:
This information is used to provide, secure, improve, debug, maintain, monetize, and support the App.
Tactical Map and related map tools may access or process different types of information depending on the features used.
The App may request access to approximate and/or precise location if the user chooses to use location-based features, such as current location, map centering, marker creation, distance calculation, compass/map alignment, GPS focus, navigation-support tools, or weather by location.
Location data may include:
Location data is used to provide the requested map and navigation-support features. We do not sell user location data.
Users can disable location access at any time through Android device settings. If location access is disabled, some map, GPS, weather, and compass-alignment features may not work or may have limited functionality.
The App may use device sensor information such as compass heading, magnetometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, and device orientation to provide heading, direction, compass, rotation, and tactical overlay features.
Sensor information is generally processed locally on the device to display direction and orientation to the user. Accuracy depends on the user’s device hardware, environment, calibration, magnetic interference, GPS conditions, and Android sensor behavior.
The App may request camera permission for camera compass HUD, live camera overlay, augmented map/compass view, or similar visual tools.
Unless clearly stated otherwise:
Users can disable camera access at any time through Android device settings. If camera permission is disabled, camera HUD features will not work.
The App may allow the user to create, save, edit, rename, drag, import, export, or delete markers, map objects, routes, coordinates, labels, distances, and local preferences.
Unless clearly stated otherwise:
If the App includes weather features, the App may use the user’s current location, selected map location, or manually entered location to request weather, forecast, or environmental information from a weather service provider.
The weather provider may receive location-related information, IP address, and technical request data according to its own privacy policy and terms. Weather features may not work if location permission, internet connection, or weather API access is unavailable.
The App may use Google Maps Platform or other map providers to display maps, satellite imagery, location-related content, search results, map tiles, or map overlays.
When map services are used, map providers may receive information such as IP address, location coordinates, search terms, map viewport, device information, and usage information according to their own policies and terms.
The App may be ad-supported and may display advertisements through third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob.
Third-party advertising services may collect or process information such as:
Advertising partners may use this information to show personalized or non-personalized ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and improve ad services.
Users can manage or reset their advertising ID and ad personalization preferences through Android or Google settings.
The App may offer a monthly subscription through Google Play Billing. The subscription may unlock map access after a trial period and may remove banner ads, startup ads, or interstitial ads for active paid subscribers.
Google Play processes subscription payments. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers or full billing details.
Depending on the App version and subscription status, the App may process:
If the App uses a local trial or local subscription cache, that information may be stored on the device until the user clears app data, uninstalls the App, or the local cache expires. Subscription status is also subject to Google Play’s purchase and cancellation rules.
The App may use third-party services to provide, maintain, analyze, advertise, secure, monetize, or improve the App.
These services may include:
These third parties may collect information according to their own privacy policies. We encourage users to review the privacy policies and terms of third-party services used by the App.
We may use collected, accessed, or processed information for the following purposes:
We do not sell users’ personal information.
We may share information in the following situations:
We may share information with third-party service providers that help us operate the App, such as map services, weather services, advertising, analytics, crash reporting, billing, hosting, database, or support providers.
These providers are permitted to use the information according to their own policies and applicable law.
Ad-supported versions of the App may share certain information with advertising partners such as Google AdMob for ad delivery, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention.
If users use map, GPS, weather, geocoding, or location-based features, relevant coordinates, search terms, IP address, or technical request data may be processed by third-party map, weather, or location providers.
Subscription purchases, cancellations, renewals, and purchase restores are processed by Google Play Billing. Google may process purchase and account information according to Google’s own policies.
If the user chooses to export, share, open, or send map markers, screenshots, saved objects, images, files, coordinates, or other content through another app or service, that information will be handled by the third-party service selected by the user.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, legal process, government request, or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of users, Veromtec, the App, or others.
If Veromtec is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a replacement policy with appropriate notice.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Please include:
After receiving a deletion request, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize the relevant personal data, unless we need to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, dispute-resolution, or legitimate business reasons.
Deleting the App from a device may remove local data stored on that device, but it may not automatically delete data stored by third-party services such as Google Play, Google AdMob, Google Maps, or a weather provider.
We value user trust and use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect information.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Where third-party services transmit data, those services may use their own security measures, including encryption in transit where applicable.
The App may request permissions only where needed for app functionality. Depending on the App version and enabled features, permissions may include:
Users can manage app permissions through Android device settings.
If a permission is not required for a specific feature, users may be able to continue using other parts of the App without granting that permission.
The App does not directly use browser cookies in the same way as websites. However, third-party services, SDKs, or embedded web content may use cookies, identifiers, local storage, or similar technologies to provide ads, analytics, security, billing, maps, weather, or functionality.
Users may manage some of these technologies through device settings, Google settings, or third-party service settings.
The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law without appropriate consent.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age, or the relevant minimum age in the user’s country, without parental consent where required.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at:

If you click a third-party link or use a third-party service, you will be subject to that third party’s privacy policy and terms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party websites or services.
The App may display map, compass, GPS, weather, distance, route, and direction information. This information may be inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or affected by device hardware, weather, internet connection, GPS reception, sensor calibration, map data quality, magnetic interference, provider outages, or user configuration.
Users are responsible for verifying important location, navigation, distance, weather, and safety information through reliable sources before relying on it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we update the Privacy Policy, we will change the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We may also provide additional notice inside the App or on our website where appropriate.
Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
