App: Trusted Links / TrustLink

Effective Date: May 31, 2026

Developer: Veromtec / Roman Liskin

This Privacy Policy applies to the Trusted Links / TrustLink Android application published by Veromtec on Google Play. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, “App,” “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Trusted Links / TrustLink and services provided by Veromtec for this App.

By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

Local-first design: The App is designed to work mainly on the user’s device. Trusted link lists, favorites, settings, custom link cards, app-lock settings, and verification history/settings are intended to be stored locally unless the user chooses to export, share, open, update, or contact a third-party service.
Security notice: Trusted Links is a phishing-risk reduction and trusted-link helper app. It can help users verify links and open trusted HTTPS destinations, but it cannot guarantee that every unsafe website, scam, phishing message, malware page, or impersonation attempt will be detected. Users should still use caution before opening links or entering personal, banking, login, or payment information.

1. Information We Collect or Access

The information collected or accessed depends on the features you choose to use. Some data is stored only on your device. Some features may require internet access to open links, check domains, download security feeds, display ads, process purchases, or contact support.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We may process information that you voluntarily provide, including:

We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for a specific feature or support request that you choose to use.

1.2 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App may store the following information locally on your device:

Local data generally remains on the device until the user deletes it, clears app data, exports/replaces it through backup/restore, or uninstalls the App.

2. URL, Domain, and Message Verification

The App may allow users to paste a URL, domain, or suspicious message text in order to check for trusted links, suspicious words, phishing indicators, unsafe URL patterns, or known bad indicators.

Depending on the feature used, the App may:

Pasted text is intended to be processed locally on the device for scanning and safety results. However, if the user checks or saves a custom website, technical domain checks may contact the selected domain or its DNS/network infrastructure. These network requests may reveal the user’s IP address and requested domain to the relevant network, domain operator, internet provider, and other infrastructure providers involved in the request.

3. Trusted Links and Custom Link Cards

The App includes a curated trusted-link database and may allow users to create custom trusted link cards. The App may store selected country, favorites, custom cards, and display preferences locally on the device.

Trusted Links attempts to open only HTTPS links that match strict validation rules. If a user opens a trusted link, the destination website or browser may process information according to that third party’s privacy policy. Veromtec is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or availability of external websites.

4. Security Feed Updates

The App may download security-feed updates from Veromtec servers, including phishing-protection database files, suspicious-word files, trusted-URL lists, or related metadata. These updates are used to improve local link and message verification.

When the App checks for or downloads updates, Veromtec servers or hosting providers may receive standard technical information, such as IP address, request time, requested file, user-agent or network metadata, and download status. We use this information to deliver security updates, maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Security-feed files are not intended to include user-specific personal information. They are downloaded to the device and used by the App for local verification.

5. App Lock, Biometric Authentication, and Password Protection

The App may offer an optional app-lock feature using Android biometric authentication, Android device credentials, or an app password.

6. Backup and Restore

The App may allow users to export or restore a backup ZIP file. Backup files may contain local app settings, favorite links, custom trusted link cards, and related local configuration.

Backup files are created only when the user chooses to export them. If the user stores, shares, uploads, emails, or transfers a backup file through another app or service, that third-party service may process the file according to its own privacy policy. Users should keep backup files private because they may contain personal preferences or custom trusted links.

7. Home Screen Widget

The App may include an Android home-screen widget that displays user-selected favorite trusted links for quick access. Widget data is stored locally and used only to show the selected links on the user’s device.

8. Advertising

The App may be ad-supported in certain builds or regions. If ads are enabled, the App may display banner ads, startup ads, interstitial ads, or other ad formats through third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.

Third-party advertising services may collect or process information such as:

Advertising partners may use this information to show personalized or non-personalized ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and improve ad services.

Users can manage or reset their advertising ID and ad personalization preferences through Android or Google settings, where supported by their Android version.

9. Remove-Ads Subscription and Google Play Billing

The App may offer an optional remove-ads subscription or in-app purchase through Google Play. Google Play Billing processes the payment transaction. We do not receive or store the user’s full payment card number, bank account details, or payment credentials.

To provide subscription features, the App may process purchase information such as product ID, purchase status, purchase identifier, purchase token or verification data, restore status, and local entitlement state. This information is used to activate, restore, or maintain the remove-ads feature.

Users can manage, cancel, or review subscriptions through their Google Play account settings.

10. Permissions Used by the App

The App may request permissions only where needed for app functionality. Depending on the build and features enabled, permissions may include:

In the current Android version, the App is not designed to request GPS/location permission, camera permission, microphone permission, SMS permission, contacts permission, or phone-call permission. The App also does not declare or register an Android Accessibility Service.

Users can manage app permissions through Android device settings.

11. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically by the App, by Veromtec servers, or by third-party services used in the App. This may include:

This information is used to provide, secure, improve, debug, maintain, and support the App, and where applicable, to display advertisements, process purchases, or deliver security updates.

12. Third-Party Service Providers

The App may use third-party services to provide, maintain, advertise, secure, or improve the App. These services may include:

These third parties may collect information according to their own privacy policies. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of third-party services used by the App.

13. How We Use Information

We may use information for the following purposes:

We do not sell users’ personal information.

14. Sharing of Information

We may share or allow processing of information in the following situations:

14.1 With Service Providers

We may share information with third-party service providers that help us operate the App, such as advertising, billing, hosting, security-feed delivery, analytics, crash reporting, or support providers.

14.2 With Advertising Partners

If ads are enabled, the App may share certain information with advertising partners such as Google AdMob for ad delivery, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention.

14.3 With Google Play Billing

If the user purchases or restores a subscription, Google Play Billing processes the transaction and provides purchase status information needed by the App to enable subscription features.

14.4 When the User Opens or Checks a Website

If the user opens a link, checks a custom domain, or uses another app/browser from Trusted Links, the selected website, browser, internet provider, DNS provider, TLS infrastructure, or other involved third party may receive technical request information such as IP address, requested domain, user-agent, and connection metadata.

14.5 When the User Chooses to Share

If the user chooses to export, save, upload, email, share, or transfer a backup file, screenshot, log, result, URL, or other content through another app or service, that information will be handled by the third-party service selected by the user.

14.6 For Legal or Safety Reasons

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, legal process, government request, or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of users, Veromtec, the App, or others.

14.7 Business Transfers

If Veromtec is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a replacement policy with appropriate notice.

15. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Local app data:

Security-feed and server logs:

Support emails:

Third-party services:

16. Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of personal data associated with their use of the App by contacting us at:

Email: veromtec@gmail.com

Please include:

Because the App is local-first and does not require a Veromtec account for core features, much of the App data can be deleted directly by clearing app data, deleting local backups, removing custom links, or uninstalling the App. Deleting the App from a device may remove local data stored on that device, but it may not automatically delete data retained by third-party services such as Google Play, Google AdMob, external websites, hosting providers, or support email systems.

After receiving a deletion request, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize relevant personal data that we control, unless we need to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legitimate business reasons.

17. Security

We value user trust and use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect information handled by the App.

The App uses a local-first approach, strict HTTPS validation for trusted links, cleartext traffic restrictions, local database protections, and local password hashing for app-lock passwords where applicable. However, no app, website, device, network, or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Users are responsible for keeping their device secure, keeping backups private, and using caution before entering sensitive information into any website opened from the App.

18. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The App does not directly use browser cookies in the same way as websites. However, third-party services, SDKs, ads, billing systems, external websites, browsers, or embedded web content may use cookies, identifiers, local storage, or similar technologies to provide ads, analytics, security, payments, or functionality.

Users may manage some of these technologies through device settings, Google settings, browser settings, or third-party service settings.

19. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law without appropriate consent.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age, or the relevant minimum age in the user’s country, without parental consent where required.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at:

Email: veromtec@gmail.com

We will take reasonable steps to delete such information where required.

20. International Users

The App may be used by users located in different countries. By using the App, users understand that information may be processed in countries other than their country of residence, where data protection laws may differ.

Where required, we take reasonable steps to protect personal information according to applicable privacy laws.

21. User Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

To exercise these rights, contact us at: veromtec@gmail.com

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.

22. Links to Other Websites or Services

The App contains links to external websites, trusted sources, government websites, banks, public bodies, official services, third-party websites, ads, and other content. These websites and services are not operated by Veromtec unless clearly stated otherwise.

If you click or open a third-party link, you will be subject to that third party’s privacy policy and terms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, availability, security, accuracy, or actions of third-party websites or services.

23. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we update the Privacy Policy, we will change the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We may also provide additional notice inside the App or on our website where appropriate.

Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
